Houdini Nation is the effort of
one person: Tommi Brem. In the year 2004 he decided to
create the largest privately owned collection
of Science-Fiction books in Germany, in which
all books have been read by the owner.
This website is the online catalogue
of said collection and it is usually approx. 40 entries
behind.
The ultimate goal of Tommi Brem
is to open a museum of science-fiction literature
in Germany in the year 2030, that is 25 years after opening
Houdini Nation.
The collection will grow as long
as Tommi Brem is able to read (or listen to readings).
Then, Houdini Nation will be completed.
Currently, the collection grows
at a rate of 100 books/year. This number can be increased
by donating.

THE
FIRST YEAR AS BOOK
For some reason now unknown to
me I have decided at some point to create a downloadable
PDF of all the books entered. This is
now available, but the images have been compressed to
make the thing downloadable.

If you are interested in a high
quality version: there isn't one. Yet. Should
the interest rise to a sufficient amount, I might start
to negotiate with a publishing house. If you are one:
let's go!
The copyright situation will be a pain
in the arse, I bet.
Anyhow, download away and feel
free to comment, report mistakes, omissions, vegetables
and that sort of thing.
