TOR is an imprint of McMillan. According to Robert J.
Sawyer, they have for some time been _the_ publishing
house for Canadian SF, if that is what rocks your boat.
Sawyer also says they're not anymore.
Originally founded by Tom Doherty (who also created
the "Forge" imprint) has been sold to St.
Martin's Press and subsequently ended up in a package
swallowed up by the Holtzbrinck Group, who put an end
on Tor's online publishing via e-books.
