Content:

The seemingly lost starship "Perikles" suddenly reappears above New York, with just one member of the crew having survived the trip to Jupiter.

Soon after landing, an alien epedemy threatens to kill all human beings on earth.

As a last resort, scientists reenter the starship that has rested abandoned since its surprise landing and detect a couple of Jovians hidden in a secret department, all pressurised and equipped to keep them alive.

Turns out the Jovians have a slightly different form of society and mindset compared to man.

So in the end its not only a matter of life and death but also a moral issue: Can you really blame an alien race with different values, different morale if they treat us humans in a way we might find inacceptable?
