Content

For billions of years, earth has been inside a cosmic cloud, slowing the development of intelligence of all living things. (Imagine our world as it is now, for this scenario).

Suddenly, earth, as it travels through space, exits that cloud and intelligence levels rise like a spring tide. intelligent people become genius, non-intelligent people become "normal" and even animals become more intelligent, e.g. primates.

It throws the way our society is structured into chaos. What is "normal", now? And what has been "normal" before? What happens if one of your main food resource (i.e. animals) are suddenly at least as intelligent as 5 year old kids?

And how would you cope with an added 100 points on your IQ scale?
